My 3 Best Photos That I've taken

This is one of my best pictures because of the use of shape. In this picture I am using elements of art by creating a heart.

This is one of my best pictures because of the use of shape in the background and the focus is only on her. Her hair is also perfectly aligned. There are also various colors and space in the background.

This is one of my best pictures because of the use of color and space. There is a lot of space surrounding me . The reflection of light on my face also adds to its title.

My Favorite Photos That I've Taken

This was one of my favorite pictures because of the color and old look this effect gave to it.
This was one of my favorite pictures because of the angle I took the picture at. Her hair looked perfectly placed.
This was one of my favorite pictures because of the effect thermal camera had on our faces and because it was one of our family pictures.
This was one of my favorite pictures because I like the blur effect on me.
This was one of my favorite pictures because of Samara's and Vincent's facial expressions.

I saved these photos on my gmail.

Elements of Art and Rules of Composition

The photo illustrates avoid the middle because its taken from a side view instead of from the front like is accustomed. The photo also suggests forms because of the many shapes in the background. Avoid the middle and forms are different because avoid the middle is taken from side views and taken away from the center while forms involves different shapes and 3-D images.

My photo cropping

The composition rule I used was filling the frame because it conveyed what I wanted the viewers to be looking at.

The cropped photo illustrates  rule of composition, lines, because the curved lines of the bubbles lead you towards the main subject. They catch your attention.

Composition post

The lighting in this picture was made darker and gives it an almost dull appearance.

I chose to give the picture a look that made it seem as if there were a lot of sun when the picture was taken.

This picture has a dark effect.

My Photo Assignment

                                                                   My Photos

This effect is called" thermal camera", I chose it because it made my eyes look brighter and showed a large amount of light towards my face.
I
This other effect I chose was called "glow", I picked it because I liked how it gave an almost soft texture to my face making it look just a bit blurry.

Another effect I chose was "pop art" because it gave a fuller definition of my eyelashes.

One effect I used was "sepia" because it gave an old-fashioned look to my photo.

The final effect I used was "mirror" because it created  the illusion that there was two of me in the photo.

Composition

Composition is the combining of different parts to form a whole. In photography, composition is the placement or arrangement of visual elements or ingredients in a work of art, as distinct from the subject of a work.It can also be thought of as the organization of the elements of art according to the principles of art.

Shadows

Our Shadows
Our shadows are something we see everyday. They follow us everywhere. A shadow is a rough image cast by an object blocking light from a light source . Objects that do not let light through are called opaque. The sizes of shadows change depending on where the light source and object are placed. From this , we learn that a shadow gets larger if the object is closer to the light source. Light cannot bend around objects.

First Assignment

Looking at Light

When looking at light, you can see it bounce off each persons face. Their faces look much clearer and visible to the eye. You can see each facial feature on their face and their clothes seem to become brighter and "pop out" more.
